About the Shelter

Barkin Dogs Rescue is a small, dedicated rescue with a passion for Australian Shepherds and other herding breeds. Since 2010, we have focused on giving at-risk dogs a second chance through foster-based care, individualized attention, and thoughtful placement with loving families. Our mission is simple: to help herding dogs in need, support adopters through education and resources, and make sure every dog finds a home where they are safe, understood, and loved for life.
