Freddie

Freddie is a blue merle Australian Shepherd with striking blue eyes, a sweet personality, and a unique way of experiencing the world. Born deaf, Freddie doesn't let his lack of hearing slow him down one bit. He plays, explores, learns, and enjoys life just like any other dog. Freddie is incredibly observant and pays close attention to the people and dogs around him. He already understands the hand signal for "sit" and is eager to continue learning through visual communication. He's a smart boy who enjoys working with his people and has shown that he's more than capable of learning new skills. One of Freddie's favorite activities is playing fetch. He happily brings the ball right back to you and is always ready for another throw. He also follows pointing and visual cues well, making him a fun and engaging companion to interact with. Freddie does wonderfully with children and doesn't mind the energy that comes with a busy family. He enjoys playing with kids, happily accepts affection, and is known for handing out plenty of enthusiastic kisses. His gentle, easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion for people of all ages. Freddie also gets along well with other dogs and often looks to them for guidance. Because of this, he would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can help him navigate daily routines and provide an extra layer of comfort and confidence.
