About the Shelter

The Cats’ Cradle is a foster-based cat rescue dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for abandoned and homeless cats throughout the Unifour region of western North Carolina. By partnering with compassionate foster families and community supporters, The Cats’ Cradle provides safe, nurturing environments where cats can heal, grow, and prepare for adoption. Its mission is to reduce feline homelessness and create a future where every cat is valued and cared for. I am a board member with CCNC and have served for more than years. I assist with marketing, oversee the remodel of our new adoption center, help set policy, recruit volunteers, fundraise, etc. I volunteer for CCNC because I'm a cat lover and I worked with CCNC in the past when I found abandoned cats and they helped to vet and find homes for them. They've saved thousands of cats in their 26 years of existence.
