Bronson is a perfect gentleman. Polite, fastidious, inquisitive, and affectionate, Bronson is the rare cat who is not a little monster (not that there's anything wrong with little monsters). Bronson loves scratches behind the ears, cuddling up to watch tv, chasing his feather toy, and gently inviting you to step away from the laptop if/when you're working too hard. Bronson would be happiest as the only pet in the house, and while he hasn't had the opportunity to interact with small children, he strikes us as the kind of cat who'd get grumpy about too much noise and chaos. No skittishness or problems with vacuum cleaners, though! He does get grouchy and bitey when getting brushed—we're working on that— but he always apologizes after with a nuzzle. Such a chivalrous boy. Bronson has an interesting story. He was found dumped outside, and had buried himself in the dirt with fear. When we got him inside, he had a microchip that says it was implanted in 2012, which would make him 13 years old. However, we think that it was a typo, and it was actually implanted in 2022, making him 3 years old. He does not behave like a 13 year old, or look like one! Our vet estimates him to be 3 years old. Bronson was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
