Clowder is a sweet girl who is adjusting well to her new foster home, where she arrived in early February 2026 from another great foster home. She was timid at first, but just a few days later she started coming to her current foster mom to be petted (see VIDEO). Appearance: Clowder has beautiful markings, a pattern called a "classic" tabby, with dark swirls.Good with cats: She is great with the other cats she was rescued with, as well as another unrelated foster cat in her new foster home. Background: A few months ago, Clowder was found in a cage with 5 other cats outside at a warehouse storage center. Someone had dumped them without food or water in the hot sun. Luckily for them, they were found in time and came into our rescue. She is being fostered with Wayfarer, whom she was found with, and Jonas. Charms and Foundling, who were part of the 6 found together, are available for adoption in another foster home. The other 2 of the 6 cats have been adopted. Location/Meeting: Approved applicants may visit her in her foster home in Warren County, NJ and meet all the cats there. In addition, any cat you wish to meet can be brought to our regular adoption events in Easton or Phillipsburg. We can also meet at a mutually convenient time and place.
