Cookie is a puppy and her surrendering owner decided they weren't ready for puppy training. She is very affectionate and sweet but she does need someone who has the time and patience for a puppy. We're saying only older respectful kids because she is so tiny. She would love a canine companion. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
