Gia - one eyed beauty

Meet Gia, a petite and very special girl who is ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. Gia is approximately 2 years old and was rescued from the Bronx with a severe eye infection. Despite treatment, her eye could not be saved, so she underwent surgery to have it removed. Since then, Gia has been much happier and more comfortable, and she gets around wonderfully with her one beautiful eye. One of her favorite pastimes is sitting by the window and watching the birds go by. Gia has spent time in a loving foster home where she has learned that people can be kind, gentle, and loving. With patience and care, she has blossomed into a darling girl who enjoys affection and is ready to continue building her confidence. Gia would do best in a patient, adult-only home where she can settle in at her own pace and soak up plenty of love. She is currently the only cat in her foster home, although she may potentially do well with a friendly feline companion given the right introduction. Gia is spayed, healthy, vaccinated, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and treated for potential parasites and fleas. Gia has already overcome so much, and now she is ready for a peaceful forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and loved. This little one-eyed wonder has plenty of love to give.
