Reese's is an adorable, inquisitive, and shy cat. From the time spent fostering her so far, it seems like she would need about a week to warm up to her new surroundings and the people in it. Once comfortable, she can be a very affectionate companion. Reese's is partial to scratches under her chin and on her butt and is very loud and proficient at purring. She has not warmed up to being picked up yet, but it does seem like she would love a good cuddle once more settled in. Reese's' favorite activities involve following you around, watching you from afar, eating, and napping. She is very food motivated and loves to meow out a song for you as you prepare her meals. When she does happen to feel like playing, she enjoys dangling toys, otherwise she would much prefer watching you do whatever it is you love. She loves a good scratching post, so be sure to provide one for her! Reese's recently underwent dental surgery and has recovered well from the surgery and an ensuing throat infection, rediscovering her incredible passion for food (and snacks, especially tube snacks) in the process. She has come out of her shell a great deal during the first few weeks of fostering. Once in her forever home, Reese's will happily keep a watchful eye over you so long as you spoil her with pets and scratches. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
