Meet Paisley – A Sweet Soul Ready to Blossom! Gentle, loving, and full of quiet charm, Paisley is a young girl on a journey to find her confidence and her forever family. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her warm personality begins to shine — and you'll see just how special she truly is. Paisley thrives with another dog by her side. During her short-term foster stay, she felt uncertain when she was alone, but the moment she had a canine friend nearby, everything changed — her tail wagged, her eyes brightened, and her playful spirit came out. She builds beautiful bonds with other dogs and loves having their company day and night. When it comes to cats, Paisley has been introduced to them and, while a bit wary at first, she was always gentle and respectful, showing her soft, sensitive nature. Paisley is searching for a patient, loving home where she can grow, blossom, and be surrounded by the comfort of another furry friend. If you're ready to help this sweet girl come into her own, she'll reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. Call the Ranch today to schedule a meet-and-greet with Paisley — she's waiting for the perfect family to help her bloom. This puppy, as well as several other dogs and puppies, are currently in our program through a special collaboration with Siskiyou County Animal Control. Due to severe overcrowding and limited resources in the region, many shelters are faced with incredibly difficult decisions. Together, we're working to give these dogs a better chance by finding them loving homes or transferring them to partner rescues. They're available for adoption just like our Rescue Ranch pups — but because of the urgency of the situation, they may be transferred quickly. If you're interested, we highly encourage you to act fast — they deserve a loving home, and it could be yours! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
