People sign over their dogs for many reasons. Tilly was brought to the shelter because she was not the breed that her family thought they purchased. We are thrilled that she is now a Friends of Campbell County dog, because she is perfect for her breed! She has been well-loved, albeit not well-socialized, and she is definitely NOT the golden retriever her family thought they were purchasing as a puppy. She went to a foster home quickly, and has settled in fairly well there for the weekend. We hope she will be a good match to someone looking for a Great Pyrenees, and can get a brand new start in her life! Fine on a leash, fine with the other nice dogs she meets, but a little handshy when someone reaches for her. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com.
