Meet Cinnamon! Cinnamon's story is one of love and heartbreak. She was adopted from Rose's Rescue a few years ago and was dearly loved by her family. Sadly, life took an unexpected turn, and despite loving her very much, they had to make the difficult decision to return her to the rescue. Losing her family has been hard on this little girl, but she is slowly learning to trust that good things can happen again. At just around 9 pounds, Cinnamon is the perfect pint-sized companion. She absolutely loves to snuggle under covers and would be happiest in a home where her people are around much of the time. If you're looking for a little one who wants to curl up beside you on the couch, Cinnamon may be your girl. She previously lived with another dog. They weren't inseparable buddies, but they coexisted peacefully. Given the choice, she would prefer having her people all to herself. We don't know how she feels about cats. Tiny humans, however, aren't really her cup of tea, so she'd do best in an adult home or one with older, respectful children. Cinnamon appears to be mostly house-trained and should do great once she gets into a routine in her new home. She also loves going for walks! Don't let her little legs fool you—she's happy to keep up with you. She may bark at other people or dogs from a distance (she has a reputation to protect, after all!), but once she gets the chance to meet them, she's done just fine. She'll tolerate a crate when needed , although it's not her favorite place to be. She may protest for a while when she's crated, but she does eventually settle down. When Cinnamon's family said goodbye, they had just one wish—that we find someone who will love and cherish her the way they did. She has so much love left to give, and she's hoping her next home will be her forever one.
