Rufus was orginally bought for a family's kids but they weren't interested in a dog. Rufus needs kids that want to play with him, even a canine companion. He is very playful and sociable. He thrives on affection and play. Age: 10 months Weight: 20 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, kids (older sturdy kids are best) we don't know how he is with cats. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
