Meet Navi, an adorable 10-lb, 9 week old terrier mix who is ready to find his forever home! Will be ready to go into a foster to adopt on March 10th. Background: Navi and his sister Spice were rescued from a home that just had too many dogs and weren't able to give these two the proper care they needed. Personality: Navi is a fun and gentle boy - a typical puppy! He loves to play with toys and other dogs before napping in his foster parent's lap. Health: Navi has been dewormed and received his first and second distemper/parvo vaccine, his bordetella vaccine and he has been microchipped. Our rescue will pay for his remaining puppy vaccines and his neuter scheduled at our vet location. Training: As a young puppy, Navi is still learning the ropes. He is pretty much potty-trained to use the doggy door during the day (with supervision) but at night still needs a potty pad in his kennel area. Remember puppies can only hold their bladders for a few hours! Like any dog, he will need to learn your routine with constant, positive training on your part. Ideal Home: Navi will thrive in just about any type of home where he can get plenty of love, attention, and general socialization. Navi gets along well with other small dogs and would enjoy a furry friend to play with. Navi will need a fenced in yard so get all his puppy energy out. His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of the above medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and can meet the appointment schedule outlined here, please complete an application at: www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application. **Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt; it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match.
