Martha Wayne - Gotham's sweetest survivor with a heart of gold and story that would make even Batman tear up. Martha Wayne may have come from a rough past on the streets, but you'd never know it from how much love she has to give. She came into rescue with an injury to her eye, causing her to lose it completely. However, she handled it like a true hero - bravely, gently, and with an endless supply of affection for everyone around her. While she was recovering, she wasn't brooding in the shadows... she was busy asking for pets. Don't let her one eyed look fool you - this girl doesn't need perfect vision to see that people are worth loving. She's resilient, trusting, and proof that even after life throws its worst, you can still come out soft and sweet on the other side. She's the kind of cat who will seek you out, lean into your hand, and remind you that love always wins (very on-brand for the Wayne family). She's less "Dark Knight" and more "Snuggle Knight," always ready to make your home feel a little warmer. Martha has not been a fan of other kitties and has not yet been dog tested. With her loving nature, she does well with people of all ages as long as they are willing to give her lots of love and pets. She would enjoy being your own personal guardian of good vibes... minus the cape. If you're ready to welcome a cat who's equal parts survivor and sweetheart, Martha Wayne is ready to be the hero of your story. Martha Wayne's adoption fee is $85 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, indoors, and current on vaccinations and preventative care. If you would like to meet Martha Wayne, please submit an adoption application for consideration on our website, Adopthope.org.
