Meet Cashew — A Senior Sweetheart Looking for a Lap to Call His Own! At 10 years old, Cashew never imagined he would have to start over. This handsome boy is losing the home he has known because his elderly owners are relocating to Florida and sadly cannot take him with them. Through no fault of his own, Cashew has found himself in a shelter, wondering what happened to his family and why his familiar world has suddenly disappeared. Cashew is looking for someone to love him for the rest of his golden years. This sweet, affectionate boy isn't asking for much. He wants a warm lap to curl up on, delicious food in his bowl, gentle hands to pet him, and lots and lots of TLC. He has plenty of personality, a big meow to let you know what's on his mind, and the loudest purrs to show you just how happy he is when he's loved! Cashew is used to the comforts of home, and shelter life is no place for a senior gentleman who simply wants to feel safe and loved. Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue Team can help get him out of the shelter, but we need someone special to open their heart and home to him. Cashew gets along with other cats and is good with older children, so he could be a wonderful addition to the right family. Most of all, he needs people who understand that senior cats have so much love left to give—and who will cherish him for the wonderful boy he is.
