Patches is a sad story, but we are now ready for a happy ending! He underwent emergency surgery for a shattered leg from a compound fracture in 3 separate spots. The vet suggested he had either fallen or was thrown from an extreme height and shattered his leg upon landing….most likely from human intervention. He's a little cautious with men (until he knows them) and loves women. He can be a little head shy and a little timid at first, but go slow and he head butts your hand inviting lots of petting. Patches has been a delight to work with and he has been so loving and calm throughout his ordeal. Patches loves gentle belly rubs, calm kisses and being gently held. He loves being around other kitties and playing hard. He loves catnip toys, churu treats and being goofy…he will be one of the highlights of your life. Patches does not interact with dogs and would do well with older kids and a quieter household.
