Foster or forever home wanted, meet Ruthie. Ruthie found herself in the Hesperia shelter as a stray mid-December. Ruthie had no collar, tag or microchip and no one ever came looking for her. Even good dogs like Ruthie that are kind, gentle and was obviously loved and in a home at one time, can run out of time in the shelter due to overcrowding. We had already committed to taking another dog at the shelter so they asked us if there was any way we could find room to take Ruthie too. Once we saw video of her interacting with shelter staff and other dogs, it was a no brainer to commit to Ruthie. Shelter staff had wonderful things to say about Ruthie. We saw she was dog and people friendly; she is also a very calm dog. Since she's new to the rescue as of January 2nd, we are still getting to know her. If you are interested in meeting this amazing young dog, please go to labradorsandfriend.org to fill out an application. Ruthie is located in Southern California.
