Meet Ace, short for Ace Hardware, because he's the only tool you'll ever need to fix a lonely house. Ace didn't end up at the shelter because he's a bad boy; he ended up here because his last owner was a workaholic who thought a social butterfly could survive on zero hours of attention. Left alone in a silent apartment all day, Ace did what any neglected dog would do: he started a one-man protest band. The neighbors weren't fans of his solo album, and his owner gave up. He doesn't have a problem—he just has standards for quality time. He's looking for a family who actually wants a dog, not a piece of furniture. If you're home more often than not, Ace wants "in" with your family. His ideal home has another friendly resident dog or someone who isn't gone all day, everyday at work and expects him to have dinner ready and a bubble bath brewing.
