Lolo is a girl who had been through some hard times, and had so few options. She was living in a busy garden center, such a young girl who had very little idea of what to do and how to survive. It was difficult to move on because she kept being impregnated with litter after litter of kittens, which she had to nourish somehow. Her kittens were repeatedly taken from her, which must have been so sad and confusing. She knew she needed help, but she didn't know what help could consist of or how to get it. She was stuck. When we heard about Lolo, our trappers got to work. Our goal is to improve cats' lives, and the least we could do was stop the cycle of babies. In this case, we got to help Lolo herself with more than just TNR--she was curious about humans and what it would be like to be a pet. Lolo was shy at first, and still can be at times. She surely has trauma from what she went through when she was alone. However, some time in a home with a loving foster attending to her made all the difference. Lolo likes people! With some patience and cat sense, her foster learned what kind of petting she likes and how to make her comfortable and happy. The steady resources and the love gave Lolo a new perspective on people--some had frightened her in the past, but she was now with people who love her and help her. Lolo's transformation has been beautiful to behold. All she needs to complete the rescue is a forever home! We love Lolo, but what we want for her is a family where she can settle in and truly belong. Would you consider applying to meet Lolo? There is no obligation to adopt, but she is worth knowing. She is waiting for her happily ever after. Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten! If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org. We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved. All CATsNAP cats and kittens are: Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
